What is Atopy?
Atopy refers to the genetic likelihood your child will develop conditions such as asthma, allergies, and eczema.
Typically atopy is due to the immune system’s exaggerated response to common allergens. Most commonly, the allergens are related to food and the environment. Often, atopy runs in families, so if you suffer from allergies, asthma, and eczema, there is a good chance your child will too!
