Breast milk is the most nutritious food available to a child – proven to enhance your child’s gut health and support their immune system development. However, breastfeeding is not always an easy task. Try lactation consultation.
We understand that first time mums can be concerned about breastfeeding and can face numerous, often overwhelming challenges relating to feeding. This can also be the case for experienced mums. We take care to treat all mothers as individuals, acknowledging that it is often not the mother’s milk supply that is the problem but rather issues associated with latching.
When you leave the hospital, it is natural to feel that you are on your own. Breastfeeding for the first time, as with many activities involved as part of the transition to parenthood, inevitably result in many questions. Our Certified Lactation Consultants and Midwifes are there to provide you with the answers, including end-to-end support for whichever feeding method you choose – whether breastfeeding, formula feeding, or combi-feeding.
