Become more present with your body and emotions
A coaching session can help you learn how to accept yourself and, in this process, through practicing a conscious pregnancy, you will become more present with your body and emotions.
The good news is that there isn’t anything you’re “supposed” to feel or not feel during this time in your life. There’s no perfect way to be. However, there are practices that can help you feel more at peace during stressful moments such as pregnancy, and these techniques potentially help you to make it an easier, and more enjoyable time.
Rather than trying to control how you feel, you’ll learn to simply be with these feelings and learn to love yourself even more unconditionally. In this way, you can accept yourself more, and provide your child with their first experience of this type of nurturing–even while in the womb.
Managing Pregnancy between siblings
Like with parenting, many past experiences might arise during these months. You may begin thinking about your own childhood and even wonder about your own experience in the womb. Even more, many women are also dealing with their other children, including younger kids who might feel a bit jealous or replaced, or teens who are in the middle of their own crises and need attention. These stressors all add to the pressure of pregnancy.
While it might sound selfish to focus on yourself, it’s actually the opposite. By nurturing yourself, you’ll be shifting the entire environment around you. Others may even react to your energy, becoming easier to be around.
